Outline Programme

Pre-symposium activities – Tuesday 2nd September

  • 3pm – approx 5pm – Infrastructure walk (easy and accessible walking) Meet at St George Square, corner of George Street and George Square (map).
  • 7pm – Civic reception at Glasgow City Chambers
  • 8pm – Social in city centre, meet at Committee Room 9 (map), 18 John Street, G1 1JQ.

Symposium Day 1 – Wednesday 3rd September – from 9am

  • 9am – 4:30pm – Sessions, with refreshments all day and lunch provided. At Glasgow Caledonian University (map for George Moore building for registration).
  • 4:30pm – Social Cycle around Glasgow
  • 6:30pm – Evening meal at Glasgow Caledonian University followed by drinks at the Union Bar.

Symposium Day 2 – Thursday 4th September – 9am to 4pm

  • Sessions, with refreshments all day and lunch provided.
  • Followed by an evening social activity for those not rushing off.

Post-symposium activities – Friday 5th September

  • Cycle ride to Paisley
